Where are you from/where do you live: Alabama

Job/School: Graduated from University of Alabama w/Masters in Business Administration, currently work as a treasury analyst.

Hobbies / Interests: Working out with weights, doing taebo for cardio, training for fitness competitions. Also going water skiing, bike riding and reading Tom Clancy novels.

Favorite Movies/TV Shows: Action movies, Everybody Loves Raymond and Frazier

Favorite Music: Classical for destressing and hip hop / dance for fitness routines. I really donít have a favorite artist or anything. Too busy.

Were you always strong/athletic/muscular? Any childhood memories you can

share? Iíve always been tone. I started showing some muscle when I was a junior high school cheerleader, however did not really get muscles until I started working out with weights a lot in the past 4 years. Iíve always been a tomboy. I didnít mind running over the guys!

Athletic Background...sports played growing up: Cheerleading, softball.

When/Why did you start lifting weights: I liked how it changed my body and I liked being stronger than those around me. Not just guys, but its still fun!

What empowers/motivates you as an athlete?: I like the competition and I enjoy competing against others. Fitness just seemed like a natural way to go.

What's your strongest muscle group, what do you consider your weakest?: My abs and my quads are my strongest. I guess my weakest is my chest.

How do people, men in particular, react to you lifting weights and/or being

muscular?: I get mostly positive comments, although sometimes I just get "looked at" by guys in the gym. Sometimes they are watching how I do things and then they try them and totally goof them up, ha! Just asked!

Have you ever been challenged in sports or in the weight room or in other

circumstances to prove yourself against a guy? Can you share any stories and

results of such experiences with us? The best I can relate to that is some times in the gym when guys watch me work out, then try to do the same weight as I do after I leave a particular station and I notice they canít. That always cracks me up.

What are your future goals in athletics and weight lifting? I would like to continue to get a little bigger, leaner. Maybe win some major fitness competitions and get some endorsements or modeling work.
